39th year of Hands-On Minds-On Technologies (HMTech) Summer Program | Volunteers Needed

Greetings Community Partners,

Sandia’s Black Leadership Committee (BLC) will celebrate the 39th year of Hands-On Minds-On Technologies (HMTech) Summer Program.

HMTech is the oldest standing supplemental STEM program in Albuquerque and the Surrounding area targeting black students grades 6th – 12th.

However, students of all races and ethnicities are welcomed to participate and encouraged to attend.

We need community volunteers to make this program a success!

Volunteers are not required to…

  • Volunteer every Saturday
  • Volunteer all day
  • Submit APS Background Check

We do ask that volunteers are 18 and older.

Areas of need…

  • Setup
  • Tear Down
  • Security hall monitors
  • Serve lunch
  • Photography
  • Floaters (help where needed)

HMTech will be held on four Saturdays in June 1st, 8th, 22nd, 29th at 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Albuquerque High School, 800 Odelia Rd. NE, 87102.
